The CCIE Collaboration certification is for Collaboration Architects, Unified Communications Architects, or Voice and Video Network Managers who are responsible for the design, implementation, and troubleshooting of complex collaboration solutions including Cisco Webex Meetings, Webex Teams, Unified Contract Center Enterprise and Express, IM and Presence, Unity, and Cisco Unified Call Manager.

The certification is an expert-level certification that verifies knowledge and experience in collaboration solutions integration and interoperation, configuration, and troubleshooting in complex networks and the challenges of video, mobility, and presence as the foundation for workplace collaboration solutions.

The CCIE certification typically rakes 8 to 12 months of study and preparation. According to Cisco, CCIE certification holders represent less than 3 percent of all certified Cisco professionals, and less than 1 percent of networking professionals worldwide.
