Aisin Group
KLA has recently completed network upgrade projects for several AISIN facilities located throughout Mexico. AISIN is a manufacturer and supplier of automotive parts and lifestyle/wellness products. KLA provided hardware, configuration services, material, and installation staff to refresh their facility networks. The most recent refresh took place in Monterey where the KLA team installed over 100 data drops and dozens of access points originating from three new plant floor IDF cabinets and an administration building located MDF to cover the facility.In addition, KLA is actively involved in designing a plant floor IoT network used for data collection from the various production devices. This data will be captured and made available for analysis from any AISIN location. KLA was instrumental in specifying the network devices and collaborated with AISIN as well as their Operational Technology controls vendors.

Globe Life Field
Globe Life Field is the new home to the Texas Rangers. The stadium, located in Arlington, Texas, features seven seating levels and a 5.5-acre retractable roof. KLA deployed and configured the network and WiFi at Globe Life Field, as well as provided IT consulting services and created hardware specifications. KLA engineers provided on-site engineering and support, including switching, interconnection, and backbone facilities, and designed, surveyed, installed, and certified a wireless system of over 1,000 access points. KLA received, pre-staged, and pre-tested Globe Life Field’s equipment in our lab facilities and then installed the equipment at the stadium.In 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Major League Baseball decided to host the 2020 World Series at Globe Life Field. KLA was onsite during the series to support. KLA was also onsite for Opening Day 2021 at Globe Life Field.

Resorts World Las Vegas
KLA installed, integrated, and provides Day 2 support for the Corning Everon Network Solution at Resorts World Las Vegas with 3,500 plus rooms. With a fiber-to-the-room and remote-DC architecture, the network supports over 22,000 ethernet ports delivering a high-powered software-defined network. Each guest room has an eight-port ONT supporting Telephony, WiFi, TV, and other data applications in-room, as well as supporting employee network needs and video security throughout the hotel towers: all with 24 total technology rooms.

A serendipitous service appointment in 2011 at the home of Matt O’Bryan, then president and COO of KLA Laboratories, resulted in a new career path for AT&T technician, John Sattler. After striking up a conversation and impressing KLA’s Dwaine Polio during a subsequent interview, John joined the company as a network support manager and network engineer.
Working primarily on the Ford Motor Company account for almost seven years, John assisted in maintaining and repairing network infrastructure at 85 of the automaker’s data centers and business and engineering locations in Michigan, as well as over 125 additional sites across the United States. In March 2016, he was promoted to director of network services, leading a team of 25 skilled engineers and support staff that handles Day 1 Network Planning, new and refresh deployments, and Day 2 support services. Other clients include Cisco Systems, Inc., CenturyLink, Dimension Data and AAA Life Insurance Company in Michigan, Georgia, Tennessee, Illinois, and Florida.
John is certified in Cisco CCNA, CCNA Wireless, CCDA and CXFS. He also proudly serves as a police reserve officer, a role he has fulfilled for the city of Woodhaven, Michigan for the past 14 years.

Ali Yassine

Ali earned a degree in Mathematics from the American University of Beirut in Lebanon. After moving to the United States, he enrolled in the Cisco Academy at Henry Ford College where he earned his CCNA and CCNP. In 2009, he joined KLA Laboratories as a Lead Technical Manager.
Ali has implemented Cisco Systems upgrades and surveys for Ford Motor Company, including migration to Cisco IPTel phone systems. He has worked with General Motors, Michigan Motion Pictures, Bed Bath and Beyond, Law360, and Market Strategies. He has assisted AAA Life Insurance to become PCI compliant while supporting their day to day operations from routing and switching to VOIP and MPLS. More recently, Ali managed and supported network and wireless upgrades at Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan, as well as Little Caesars Arena (LCA).
Ali lives in Dearborn, MI with his family and enjoys soccer, volleyball, and keeping up with Cisco innovations.

It was during this time he realized the potential of expanding these systems and the benefits of allowing them to communicate with each other and various enterprise systems. He earned his degree in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Tech University and later attended Cisco Networking Academy at Henry Ford College where he expanded on his knowledge at CCNA and CCNP levels.
Mike began his career at KLA Laboratories in 2010 as a Network Engineer. He has worked successfully with advanced routing and switching, Wi-Fi, and the Internet of Things/OT for customers in various industries such as enterprise, sport, entertainment, financial, and manufacturing. Mike has mentored several of his colleagues and continues to foster growth within KLA.

Jim began his career at Ford Motor Company after graduating from Michigan State University with a BS in Computer Science. He initially worked programming systems for Ford Credit and soon moved into the area of modems, telecommunications, and networks. He formed the first network team at Ford Credit in the mid-1990s and later went on to lead the team that built Ford Credit’s North American Call Center and telephony infrastructures. He also led teams supporting Windows and Linux servers, along with PC deployments. In 2012, he moved from Ford Credit to Ford IT, where he managed the Global LAN Planning group, with teams in India, Europe, and North America. These teams managed the planning and deployment of the networks in all Ford facilities.
After 36 years with Ford, Jim joined KLA working as a Senior Technical Consultant supporting new Business Development. He became familiar with KLA through his role leading LAN Planning at Ford. KLA was leveraged for in-plant wiring projects and provided Day One implementation planning and support.
Jim is married with two children. His wife (a U of M Dearborn graduate) works at Ford Credit, where the two of them met. He has a daughter who graduated from U of M’s Ross School of Business, and a son at Michigan State University (Class of 2020)-truly a house divided. He enjoys sports, likes to play golf, and sometimes spends time on the weekends binging on Netflix or Amazon Prime.
